During our research we noticed the X12 drone especially positive, so we took a closer look at the device.
You get here a model plane with 4 drives and foldable design, which also has a Wifi FPV function and that for a price under 50 Euro (Amazon).
The drone is very suitable for beginners, because it has a 6-axis gyroscope and has some safety systems.

Technical data
The drone is available in the colours black, blue and red. In the scope of supply are all parts which you need to start immediately with the quadrocopter. It is so to speak “Ready To Fly”. However, we recommend you to charge the battery before the first start.
According to the manufacturer, the X12 is not suitable for children under 14 years of age. But here you can decide for yourself. In our opinion, there are sufficient safety precautions, so that even young and inexperienced drone pilots can get involved with this model.
The automatic return function is also very advantageous, so the drone can easily find its way back to you.
Design
The model is available in various shops in different colours. If you choose the colour “black”, there are a few light blue contours that round off the design a bit.
Below in the front area is the camera. In addition, the feet are mounted quite inconspicuously, they are located under the respective motors.
We also like the rotor blades, which have a particularly aerodynamic design, so that the quadrocopter can get the best possible performance from the electric drives and at the same time is quite quiet.
In case you crash, you can easily replace the propellers if they are damaged.
Camera
Although the camera only has a resolution of 2.0 MP, this is completely normal in this price segment. Other quadrocopters that you can get for about 50 Euro don’t have a camera at all.
The cam delivers high-quality photo and video recordings according to the resolution. Both the colour depth and light sensitivity are perfectly acceptable for a 720P HD camera.
Thanks to the app and smartphone you have the possibility to transfer the video images to your device in real time. A reliable Wifi system is used here. However, we recommend that you always keep an eye on the drone and not just fly according to the FPV image to avoid collisions.
Battery, flight time and range
A 3.7 Volt strong 1000 mAh Lipo battery is installed which provides a maximum flight time of about 12 minutes. You can also recharge the battery quite fast within one hour.
The 2.4 Ghz remote control allows a maximum control range of about 100 meters. The FPV Wifi signal does not reach that far.
