Once again we looked around for a remote-controlled racing drone and came across the LHI 250. This is a kit. We therefore recommend this model especially to the experienced hobbyists among you.

All parts of this drone, are also offered individually by the manufacturer on Amazon. So you can buy spare parts easily, fast and cheap.

The elements of the frame are made of CFK, a high-quality carbon fibre material.

The scope of delivery of course also includes a remote control with which you can control the LHI 250 drone.

Technical details

On Amazon you can buy this model also assembled. Most of the parts are already connected, so you only have to screw on the propellers and you can take off.

With the assembled version, the drone is tested by the manufacturer before shipping. The high-precision processing shows that not only high-quality materials were used, but also that the assembly was carried out by professionals.

Not only the material is super, but also the flight characteristics and the positive price/performance ratio speak for the LHI 250 drone. Since this is a racing quadrocopter, there is unfortunately no stabilisation system. So beginners have to practise for a while until they can steer the LHI 250 drone well in the air.

Since the weight is particularly low, the model aircraft develops enormously high speeds. This is particularly advantageous if you want to take part in races with the quadrocopter.

Design and housing structure

We will link you below to the assembled model. But if you want to order the kit or replace a part, even beginners have a good chance to get along. But help from an experienced hobbyist can’t hurt.

The dimensions of the model are 25 cm x 20 cm x 7 cm. Thus it corresponds to the typical dimensions of a racing drone.

The case was equipped with some rubber dampers to prevent the vibration from spreading too much during flight. This ensures a more stable flight attitude.

In addition, the low weight comes in very handy, as this makes the drone model much more agile, more manoeuvrable, can accelerate more strongly and reaches a high top speed. To ensure that the LHI 250 drone weighs as little as possible, carbon fibre was used as the material.

As drive 4 electric motors are used, which run particularly quietly and cause little vibration. These are MT2204 2300KV motors.

Camera

This is only the basic model, so unfortunately there is no camera included.

However, the kit supports HD cameras and FPV image transmission. You would have to order and install the necessary parts yourself.

Battery and flight time

A rechargeable battery is also not included in the scope of delivery. Many people buy the Turnigy 2200mAh 3S 20C -30C Lipo Pack (up to 2C chargeable) molinoRC and also the SKYRC e Series Balance Compact Charger Intelligent Lipo Battery Charger for RC Batteries (15W). You are well equipped with this charger.

Please note that the LHI 250 drone does not come with a battery!

The Turnigy battery we recommend has a charging capacity of 2200 mAh. The maximum flying time depends very much on the chosen battery pack and your flying behaviour!
