After GoPro had such a successful start with action cameras and was able to record large sales with these cams, many manufacturers came along and wanted to jump on the bandwagon and expand their profits by producing action cams.

If you look at the product details, it becomes clear that Binwo wants to score with a good price-performance ratio, but what you can really think of the action camera, we tell you in this report.
Technical features
The cam has a 4K video resolution, Wifi function and is delivered with a waterproof camera housing, which can be used up to a depth of 40 meters and perfectly protects the camera from water ingress.
In the menu you have many different setting options, for example you can configure the viewing angle or start a slow motion video.
The high quality photo sensor with 16 megapixels ensures excellent photo and video quality. In our opinion, however, this is far from being comparable to that of GoPro. You simply get a much better photo sensor and much better performance for 5-7 times the price. Nevertheless, the 4K Binwo Action Cam is perfect for beginners, hobby and amateur videographers.
Design and appearance
In terms of design, the Binwo Cam looks very similar to an action camera from the manufacturer GoPro, but some things are still different and different.
On the backside there is only a large 2.0 inch display, on the side you have several buttons to choose from to find your way around the menu and above there is a confirmation button or the release button.
In the front is the photo sensor and next to it the on/off switch.
The set also includes many attachments and brackets, which you will need to be able to attach the action camera in many different ways. The interface is located below the cam.

For photos you can choose between 16 MP, 12 MP, 10 MP, 8 MP, 5 MP and 3 MP resolution values.
The higher the resolution and frame rate, the more storage space is required for the image file or the video generated.
The file system is fat32, but there is no memory card included, you have to buy one separately.
Menu navigation and recording modes
In the menu you can reach all sub items quickly and easily.
For example, you can adjust the resolution values, frame rates, lens and modes in the menu.
The wide angle lens can be adjusted between 70 and 170 degrees.
You can also use different recording modes such as fast motion and slow motion, but for slow motion we recommend to shoot only very high frequency videos, for example 1280 x 720p at 90 fps.
Battery and runtime
A 900 mAh battery with a 90-minute recording time at 1080P resolution is used. The length of time varies depending on the resolution and frame rate you finally set.
Pairing with your smartphone or tablet via Wifi
You can connect the Binwo action camera to your smartphone quickly and easily via the Wifi interface. All you need to do is download and install the appropriate app from the store.
You can then control the cam from your smartphone, follow and view images in Live.
How good is the image quality?
The image quality is okay and completely acceptable for this price, but with the values you read as a buyer you think that the images and video recordings read much better.
Other customers are also of the opinion that the pictures are pretty good for this price, but as a buyer with high expectations you might imagine more.
For which applications is the camera suitable?
The Binwo action camera is perfect for diving and snorkelling, as the housing is waterproof to a depth of 40 metres.
It is also well suited as a car dashcam or drone camera.
