Technical features
Externally, the camera resembles the many other ActionCam models available in this price segment. The included waterproof housing makes a cheap impression, but this is deceptive, because it ensures that the camera will not let water in even at a depth of 30 meters.
The inner workings of the Crosstour Action Cam are really awesome for the price! The camera records videos with up to 4K Ultra HD and photos with a resolution of 12 megapixels. The pictures and videos are really impressive. For the hobby photographer the Crosstour Action Cam is more than enough!
There are also many additional functions such as snapshot, loop video function, time lapse and even the possibility to connect the smartphone with the action camera via WiFi.
Resolution values and memory
With 4K shots, the camera can shoot up to 25 frames per second. There are other resolutions available, including 1080P at 60 fps, 1080P at 30 fps, 720P at 120 fps and 720P at 60 fps. The lower the frame rate and resolution, the less memory is required.
As memory card you should use a class 10 SD card, the manufacturer advises to buy it formatted with FAT32 and best to format it before use.
The action camera supports maximum 32 Gbyte SD cards.
Menu navigation and recording modes
The menu is structured quite simply, you can get to all settings quickly and clearly. You can control the camera either via the 2 inch LCD touch display or, if you have connected the cam with your smartphone, with your mobile phone.
The structure of the menu is neither too cluttered nor too confusing, so you will find your way around quite quickly.
In addition, there are several different shooting modes available.

In the scope of supply are 2 batteries with 1050 mAh charging capacity each. A fully charged battery can record up to 90 minutes of video material. With 2 batteries you can film 180 minutes, but you have to interrupt briefly in between to change the battery.
