Technical data, features and facts about the drone
The Airbot TD215 uses among other things the Omnibus F4 flight controller. With this electronic component you can configure different flight modes.
Depending on your level of experience, you can set a flight mode that suits your abilities.
We especially liked the FPV function of the Airbot TD215 drone. The FPV live video transmission works very stable, there are almost no image errors. The Caddx Turbo EOS camera is coupled with the VS600 5.8G VTX.
The VS600 is designed so that users can change the settings even at low power (1 mW). The Pit Mode is responsible for this. So tests can be carried out during the race without disturbing the live FPV transmission.
The drone supports 3 to 6S lipo-input. So you have a wide range of possible flight batteries for the quadrocopter.
Design and appearance
The design is quite similar to other quadrocopters. There is an upper and lower plate made of carbon, in between there is the board with some electronic components. The arms look far out from the body and at the ends are the electric drives with brushless motors.
The manufacturer has thought of something for the antenna installation. The antenna does not protrude completely horizontally or vertically from the drone, but is mounted at the end of the quadrocopter in a horizontal position and can be easily bent upwards.
The voltage input is on the right side, there is also a capacitor to prevent voltage peaks when coupling the board to the battery.
The color is black, because of the carbon material. In some places, however, violet is incorporated here and there.
Since there is no proper canopy for the Airbot TD215 drone, it is important that you only fly the quadrocopter in dry weather, otherwise the electronics could get wet.

Camera
The camera is the Caddx Turbo EOS2 CAM in white with 1200 TVL. The resolution is quite good for a FPV drone and provides a clear and colorful picture during the flight.
The photo sensor has a size of 1/3 inch, which is the standard size!
You can already notice a significant difference in picture quality and sharpness between a 700TVL and a 1200TVL, so it is definitely worth buying. What is noticeable, however, is that the cam produces a slightly red coloured picture when the colours are red.
Usually we are not used to see such a good FPV material on a racing drone, usually the image quality is secondary in this area. But we liked it very much with this model!
Flight performance, battery and flight time
Thanks to the powerful electric motors, the Airbot TD215 drone is very well suited for experienced pilots who also want to have an enormously high performance potential.
Built in are 4 pieces of the type Gx2306 with 2700KV. The motors work brushless and therefore have the possibility to reach quite high rotation speeds.
With the flight battery it is so that you have to buy one extra! Here you can choose between different battery combinations. Possible are 3S to 6S batteries.
