In this report we present to you the Diatone 2019 GT R349 drone. This is a quite new flight model with 4 propeller drive.
The quadrocopter is ideal for FPV racing, reaches very high speeds and the flight characteristics are also super.
Of course you need some practice to handle a racing drone perfectly. Therefore we recommend this model to the advanced pilots among you.
Technical data and facts
For flight control the Mamba F405 controller unit is used. It has a current input which is suitable for both 3S and 4S batteries with a voltage between 11.1 and 14.8 volts.
The controller unit, respectively the board module measures only 30 mm x 30 mm x 5 mm and weighs only 8 g. This unit is integrated in the quadrocopter model.
Especially for racing drones a high quality control module is of great importance. With the Mamba F405 controller unit, the quadrocopter meets this requirement.
The flight behaviour of the Diatone 2019 GT R349 drone resembles a beast. The copter is fast and aggressive, provided of course that you have the drone under control.
Built in are very high quality, brushless F4 motors, which reach very high speeds and can bring the quadrocopter to high speeds.
Design
In itself, the design does not resemble the usual appearance of a drone, but differs greatly from other models. The circuit board and a few cables are easily recognizable, because the hood is relatively narrow. The rotor blades are transparent, which looks pretty cool.
In the shop you get the model in 3 different colours. The only difference is the cover, which you can change.
It doesn’t matter which color you choose, you will receive all 3 hoods with the different colors. The chosen colour only corresponds to the assembled canopy. For example, if you have chosen the colour “white”, the drone will be assembled with this canopy and the other two canopies with different colours will be included in the package.
If you choose a 850 mAh 4S battery, the weight of the drone is less than 250 grams and therefore no drone marker is needed.

Camera
It is equipped with a VTX CMOS camera, which is ideal for FPV transmissions.
The resolution and the transmission of the live image are very good and are ideal for drone racing.
However, the recorded image material can of course not be compared to that of a high-quality photo drone. Here a clear distinction must be made. If you need a really good drone with camera, we recommend the DJI Mavic Pro!
The built-in cam has 200 mW and 48CH.
Battery
Unfortunately, no battery pack is included in the scope of delivery. You get only the Diatone GT R349 135mm RC drone delivered.
Both 3S and 4S batteries are suitable.
Recommended is for example a GNB or Tattu 4S 75C with 850 mAh.
