Compared to other low-cost action cams, the KAMTRON differs in some aspects of its appearance.
It has a robust design, in the front diagonally above the photo lens there is an additional small display, we haven’t seen that with other cameras in this class.
Included in the scope of delivery is also a waterproof case with which you can dive up to 30 meters deep.
An EIS (Electronic Image Stabilizer) is also integrated. This means that images are no longer completely blurred, but are electronically focused. In this price range you will rarely find such a feature!
Image sensor, resolution and memory
The highest photo resolution is 20 megapixels, which is a damn good performance for an integrated sensor at this price. The image format here is 5120 x 3840 pixels.
The camera supports micro SD memory cards up to 64 Gbyte. We recommend to format the memory card before use!
Menu navigation and recording modes
All functions are quickly and easily accessible in the menu. We recommend that you take a close look at the camera before using it in order to know where which functions are located.
The operation is usually done in such a way that you control the menu via the 2 inch touch display. Alternatively, the KAMTRON action camera can also be operated via the supplied 2.4G remote control or smartphone.
Since the camera has Wifi, you can connect it to other devices such as smartphones or tablets.
