Not only can the new Pitta 4K self-propelled drone fly and take cool pictures of you and your friends, it can also be used as a normal action camera.
Of course, this complete system has met with a positive response and at the moment this project is still in its initial phase. However, the financing for this is already far from complete and the manufacturers are sure of their business.
There is no such thing so far, you can simply attach the part to a helmet, film it with your hand or a selfie stick and alternatively fly around with it and create cool shots. With a size of only 17 cm diameter and a weight of about 200 grams, the quadrocopter is one of the most compact drone systems we know so far.
What is included and how to use the Pitta 4K Selfie drone?
The included set of the Pitta Action Camera includes the drone module, the action camera module and the camera body. Here you can easily change the module depending on your preferred use. For example, if you want to use the action camera module, simply unscrew the camera from the drone module and insert it into the other module.
What can the drone do?
The Pitta drone can do quite a lot for being so small, among other things it has a GPS sensor which allows you to determine the exact position of the quadrocopter.
In addition, you can use a whole range of functions that are also available in other drone models. These include the Return To Home function, 360 degree panorama recording and the automatic tracking mode.
You can control the Pitta 4K Selfie drone easily with the app that fits to the device, which you can easily install on your smartphone.
Conclusion: What we think of the new Pitta drone
So far we could not test this copter yet, because it is not yet available on the drone market.
However, we think the concept is great and quite simple. You have turned a drone into an action camera in a few seconds. You profit enormously from this in everyday life. The Pitta is not much wider than the palm of your hand and you can easily put it in your pocket.
In terms of price, the drone system will cost around 235 Euros, with the current delivery date in May 2019 targeted and already available for pre-order.
