A cool racing drone is the Qwinout King Kong 90GT BNF with high quality brushless drive.
Also on board is a great camera and a sophisticated control system.
Because the model is so inexpensive, it is particularly suitable for beginners who have little flying experience and therefore do not want to spend so much budget at the beginning.
The design is simple and seems rather technical. Despite the small size you still have the possibility to build a suitable canopy or body for the quadrocopter.
Technical details
The Qwinout King Kong 90GT BNF is driven by 4 very powerful brushless motors. In each case it is a 1103 7800KV motor. Because the drone is so compact and light, fast and abrupt flight maneuvers are no problem. So you are well armed against the other quadrocopters in racing.
If you want to tinker with the drone, it’s pretty simple. The board is very clearly arranged, at the corners are the 3 connectors for the brushless motors, in front another small board with camera and at the side the connectors (positive and negative) for the 2S Lipo battery.
The receiver unit is located at the rear of the board. Even though everything is in place and you can quickly get through how it works, we don’t recommend you to solder wildly on it in case something is defective, unless you really know how to do it.
Camera, FPV and recording
The camera is quite small, so you shouldn’t expect too much of its quality. It is a 800TVL CMOS sensor. For FPV racing use this is completely sufficient because the cam offers a FOV of about 150 degrees.
The 5.8G16CH FPV transmitter transmits the FPV signal safely and without a long delay. The power is rated at 25 mW of the transmitter unit.
We recommend to use only high quality FPV glasses to get a high quality and unaltered video signal.
Flight performance and fun
Unfortunately there is no 6 axis gyroscope system. This is usual with drones of this class, you need a little more practice for FPV racing, but once you get the hang of it, the whole thing is really fun!
Especially the rapid flight speed is really very impressive. This is due to the powerful and brushless 1103 7800 KV motors, which can reach enormously high speeds.
When you put the propellers on, you should take care to screw them on correctly, otherwise the quadrocopter cannot take off. There are 2 x CW and 2 x CCW propellers, which differ in the colors black and green.
Design and size
As already mentioned, the Qwinout King Kong 90GT BNF drone is a very elegant, compact-looking and lightweight quadrocopter model.
The dimensions are 82 x 82 x 28 mm, so the copter is about the size of a palm of your hand. The weight is about 43 grams without battery.
Battery
A 350MAh 2S 7.4V 25C lithium-ion battery is used as power supply. This is sufficient for about 6 minutes flying time, after which you have to land and recharge the flight battery.
Assets and drawbacks

Conclusion
The little drone is really a lot of fun and you can use it to fly cool stunts, but you need some practice, it doesn’t happen overnight and there are no programmed 360 degree flips and no gyroscope system.
Therefore we recommend you to practice slowly and to approach more spectacular flight maneuvers step by step.
Especially impressive are the powerful brushless electric motors. They turn so high that the drone becomes incredibly agile and manoeuvrable.
In the end, the price is also a decisive purchase criterion for many and it is quite far down in this model compared to competing models. We can therefore recommend the quadrocopter.
