The manufacturer Wingsland meanwhile also produces pretty cool quadrocopters. We have taken a closer look at the model S6 Pocket and in this report we present you the advantages but also the disadvantages.
The drone is driven by 4 brushless motors. It is also very easy to fold and has a 13 megapixel camera with a 4K video resolution.
The quadrocopter is super light, can be transported everywhere and has a sophisticated gyro system. Last but not least the drone has a very attractive design and a great price/performance ratio.
Technical details
To our astonishment, the Model S6 Pocket has many great technical refinements and unique features.
There is a reliable app for the drone with which you can control the drone via touch pad and adjust various things.
In addition, the Wingsland S6 Pocket impresses with unique photo and video recordings, while electronic image stabilisation ensures particularly sharp photo and video recordings.
Other features include 360 degree panorama recording, slow motion recording, programming flying and follow me mode.
What makes this model stand out is the Bomb Gun, the Expression Board and the Search Light which allows you to fly around in the dark.
Thanks to a Dial GPS system (GPS and GLONASS) the drone always remains in a balanced position.
Size, design and weight
The design reminds a bit of a DJI drone, so it looks very high quality and is foldable. The dimensions are 138 x 79 x 26.8 mm and the model weighs only 230 grams.
All in all, it looks ultra thin, making it easy to transport, especially because the model can be folded up easily. Folded up in your trouser pocket, the drone gives the impression that this is just a somewhat too large smartphone.
Camera, memory and FPV live image transmission
Despite the fact that this drone is so damn small, it has a pretty powerful camera. You can expect great 4K video recordings and 13 megapixel photos that look very high quality thanks to the electronic image stabilisation, even with faster movements.
Integrated is also a Wifi FPV system which transmits the images of the 4K UHD camera in real time to your smartphone.
You can download the corresponding application for this purpose free of charge from the Appstore, where you can also edit or send your recordings.
Battery, range and flight time
The flight time for this model is in the range of 9 to 11 minutes, depending on your flight behaviour.
The maximum range of the transmitter is about 120 meters. That is exactly the distance where the drone is hardly visible.
There are certain laws in Germany concerning drone flights and you should abide by them. You don’t have to affix a drone license plate, but you are only allowed to fly the model within visual range. If you can’t tell at a distance of 100 meters whether the copter is facing you or away from you with its snout, you shouldn’t fly further away.
Flight stabilization
Numerous stabilization systems ensure a comfortable and safe flight. The drone is very easy to control, even for beginners, due to the GPS, GLONASS and gyroscope system.

Our conclusion: Super drone for a pretty reasonable price with many extensive functions. We can therefore recommend this model to everyone. The Wingsland S6 Pocket Drone is suitable for both beginners and advanced pilots.
