One of the particularly impressive and ultimately also, from a purely technical point of view, impressive features of the JEEMAK WIFI Action Cam is the fact that this helmet camera is a tool that allows the user to act freely with both hands and still generate impressive still images and impressive video streams.
Also the use of the Action Cam JEEMAK WIFI when climbing mountains or on a safari tour, where both hands are urgently needed, is realistic and possible.
As already mentioned, WIFI and the option of generating data volumes of 4 K via helmet cam are also among the device’s features, as is, of course, the remote control, which is always indispensable for outdoor use.

The device can not only record the obligatory videos in 4K, but also slow-motion movies if desired.
The 1,080 pixel technology built into the device takes care of this. Time-lapse shots can thus be generated with the device without any problems, and of course the endless loops that have recently become increasingly popular with amateur film-makers. At home, the image and video material recorded with the JEEMAK WIFI Action Cam can then be played back in correspondingly high quality and shown to the family. The quality standards that can always be achieved effortlessly by the device reach home cinema level.
The particularly high usability
Especially all oudoor enthusiasts and sports enthusiasts will get their money’s worth quite fast when using the JEEMAK WIFI Action Cam. As already mentioned, the unconventional design and construction as well as the characteristic operating mode allow both hands of the operator to remain free when using the JEEMAK WIFI Action Cam. Particularly impressive video sequences can thus be generated in high resolution during operation.
Of course, the remote control of the helmet cam is completely wireless and can be operated from the wrist of the user. This not only promises a particularly high level of usability in practical use, but also provides a certain degree of security for the user, as he can concentrate fully on what is happening and the control of his helmet cam runs virtually automatically alongside.
An indispensable and at the same time always indispensable accessory is therefore the completely wireless 2.4 G remote control which is part of the standard scope of delivery of every JEEMAK WIFI Action Cam. The range of this unique and completely wireless remote control is specified by the manufacturer as a total of 20 metres. A further feature is that the remote control of the JEEMAK WIFI Action Cam mentioned and briefly presented here is absolutely waterproof up to a total of 5 metres in practical use.
Photo and video recordings of the Action Cam
The video recordings of the Jemaak in 4k with 30 frames per second really look very fluid and pin sharp. Further settings are 2.7k with 30 frames per second and Full HD with up to 60 FPS (frames per second). Compared to other action cameras in this price range, it is almost the only cam that can display 4k at 30 frames per second. The Apeman, SJ5000x Elite as well as the TecTecTec only make it to Ultra HD with 24 frames per second.
But the difference is clearly visible, as the film shots seem to be much more fluid and dynamic, even if there are only 6 pictures per second (30 FPS) more in total. We find the zoom functions that can be used with the buttons on the right side of the device particularly cool. In contrast to GoPro, and from our point of view even better, the pictures are still sharp and not blurred and pixelated as we experienced with the Hero 5.
At the zoom setting “narrow”, i.e. at the highest zoom level, it was clearly visible that the picture was no longer sharp and sometimes there was some noise. With the Jeemak however it still looks very good as the next pictures prove.
Pictures can be taken with a resolution of 16 MP (GoPro only manages 12MP, even the latest model the Hero 6). If the light conditions are unfavourable, e.g. when shooting against the sun or in strong darkness, you’ll have to make adjustments via the ISO settings.
Despite all photographic skills, it can be that the pictures in strong darkness something rush. I had the same problem with the use of the GoPro models, so that this can not really be chalked up as a minus point.
As with all Actioncams the quality of the built-in microphone is not the best. However, this is also not the purpose of an actioncam to deliver outstanding sound recordings. If you want to produce high quality sound recordings, you will either have to buy a GoPro and connect an external microphone, which is not possible with the Jeemak, or switch to a reflex or normal camera. By the way, most users of an action cam will not worry about the sound quality.
Display and battery performance with the JEEMAK WIFI Action Cam
The manufacturer installed a 2-inch HD display with a 170 degree wide angle lens. This real-time display is used to view the object to be recorded. The wide-angle lens guarantees extremely sharp images and also the clear equalization of the film or image material, for images or video streams that are significantly closer to reality.

Overall evaluation and conclusion of the Jemaak 4k Actioncam
For me the Jeemak 4k is the secret test winner among the cheaper Action Cam up to 150€. This is not only because of the smoother videos, but also the condition works faster and more fluid than competitive models. In my opinion this is a very clear advantage when it has to be fast in action situations.
Unfortunately, there is no voice control as is the case with the GoPro 5 or 6, for example. However, one should not expect this for a price of 60€.
