Today we introduce the Eachine E511S GPS Dynamic Drone. It has a 1080P camera and is very popular because of its noble design similar to the DJI Mavic Air, it can be folded and is also very affordable.
It is light, can be controlled excellently and can be transported comfortably everywhere. When folded, it even fits in a larger trouser pocket.
The flight battery supplies the quadrocopter with constant power for about 12 minutes, after that you have to either charge or replace the battery.

The Eachine E511S Dynamic has it all. Thanks to its GPS positioning system, it stands like a one in the air and can be flown with extreme precision. The extremely stable flight is also supported by a 6-axis gyro system, so beginners have an easy time.
However, if you have very little flying experience, we recommend that you start by flying in the simplest flight mode. You have 3 speed levels to choose from and you can slowly get used to the flight behaviour of the drone.
There is even a one-key return function integrated, which allows the drone to find its way back to the starting point at the push of a button. We find this safety feature quite important in case you lose sight of the drone.
A WLAN system is also installed, which allows you to connect your smartphone or tablet to the quadrocopter. Pretty cool is the real-time transmission of images and video material that is currently being recorded live by the drone camera. Especially cool and unique is the possibility to adjust the camera via a servo, this is even possible in flight, you just have to use the corresponding control in the app.
Otherwise the control commands are transmitted over the radio frequency of 2.4 Ghz with interference protection. This safe transmission frequency allows a reliable control of the quadrocopter without dangerous interruption.
Size, design and weight
The Eachine E511S GPS Dynamic has average dimensions. In normal condition it measures 35.4 cm x 36.6 cm x 7.3 cm. When folded it measures approximately 18.5 cm x 10.8 cm x 6.4 cm. But for this price and the features, it is still simply amazing!
Also the quality of the case is really very high. The quadrocopter fuselage itself is made of high-strength and extremely resistant plastic. No cheap stuff is used here.
On top, similar to the Mavic 4 status LED lights are mounted and on the back a wide red tail light.
All in all, this drone looks very similar to the Mavic series, but when it hovers in the air, you have to look a bit closer to distinguish the Eachine E511S GPS Dynamic Drone from the original.
Camera, memory and FPV live image transmission
The camera is rather average for the price! Although it only has 1080P and not 4K, it doesn’t live up to the quality standard of Full-HD. Of course you can’t compare the resolution with a DJI Mavic Cam because a Mavic costs about 10 times as much.
You can choose in the shop which camera you want to buy. There are 3 different versions available. Once with 720P resolution, 1080P, 1080P with 5G Wifi. The 5G Wifi has the advantage that higher data rates are possible and the image stability is a bit higher.
As already mentioned, you can control the camera vertically via your smartphone app, it can be tilted 75 degrees up or down. The lens also has a 120 degree wide angle. So all in all, you have a pretty wide and flexible field of view.
The drone has no gimbal system, so the video will always be blurred, as shown in the video above.
Battery, range and flight time
At this low price most drones run out of juice after 5-10 minutes. The Eachine E511S GPS UAV has a total flight time of about 12 minutes per battery charge due to its powerful flight battery.
The loading itself then takes about 120 to 150 minutes. Gentle and slow recharging of the battery cells ensures a particularly long life. When the charge of the flight battery is nearing its end, the drone will make itself felt and you will have to land. You can then simply replace the battery. There are different sets available in the shop. Either with one flight battery, 2 or 3 batteries.
Depending on where you buy an additional battery, it costs between 10 and 20 €.
