Then there are the time lapse shots, which can be divided into the following time segments: 2s / 3s / 5s / 10s / 20s / 30s and 60s.
The pictures on the 2.0 inch display can be viewed in real time, they are great and make a great impression.
Also advantageous is the integrated Wifi, thanks to which you can have the pictures sent from the camera to your smartphone in real time. This also gives you the opportunity to share the pictures on social networks and friends.
To do this, you will need to download a corresponding app, namely the EZ icam app for Android 4.0 or higher. Alternatively, you can also use the app with the Apple IOS 10 system!

Design
This camera model also does not differ much in design from other action cameras in this price segment. The outer surfaces are slightly ribbed to give the Action Cam a better grip.
On the side there is an HDMI and a USB output. Here you can connect a TV or other monitor or drag files from your camera to a computer.
On the back is the display, which measures about 2.0 inches. In the front is the 170 degree wide angle camera with a resolution of 12 MP.
The camera body, which is waterproof, is transparent. The camera can also be controlled by a three-button operation.

The Geekam Action Cam has a great photo sensor with a resolution of about 12 MP. This sensor has a 170 degree wide angle lens. Thanks to the lens, blind spots are reduced to an absolute minimum when used as a Dashcam!
In the menu of the camera, you can make various settings. Among other things, you can also set the resolution quite well. You have the choice to use the following values:
- 4K video recording at 10 frames per second
- 1080P at 30 fps
- 720P at 30 fps
The images are saved in JPG format and the videos in MOV format. A class 10 Micro SD card is used for this purpose. You should note, however, that you can only use memory cards with 16 Gb or 32 Gb if you want to film in 4K mode!
Battery and service life
Each battery lasts for about 1h. However, the maximum runtime also depends on the resolution in which you film.
However, 2 rechargeable batteries are included in the scope of delivery, each with a charging capacity of 1050 mAh.
